Introduction

Located in Accra, at Alajo Polo Junction, Mycocostuff Ghana is a pioneering business transforming coconut waste into eco-friendly and biodegradable products. Established by Foli Elisha Kofi, this innovative company began production in December 2022 and officially registered as a business in May 2024.

Mycocostuff Ghana is dedicated to producing a wide range of sustainable products using coconut waste, including shells, husks, and discarded stems of coconut trees. By collecting and gathering these materials from nearby communities, the company not only reduces waste but also promotes the numerous health and environmental benefits of eco-friendly alternatives.

The mission of Mycocostuff Ghana is twofold: to educate the public about the advantages of biodegradable products made from coconut and to encourage a shift away from the pervasive use of plastics. By demonstrating the practicality and benefits of these natural products, the company aims to lead a movement towards a more sustainable lifestyle.

The vision driving Mycocostuff Ghana is to become the leading producer of eco-friendly and biodegradable products in Africa and beyond. With this goal in mind, the company strives to introduce its innovative products to the global market and plans to open a unique restaurant that features meals prepared with coconut products such as oil, flour, milk, and flakes. This restaurant will serve dishes using utensils and tableware made from coconut shells, including bowls, cups, plates, and cutlery sets.
